Every-Buddy’s Agility Fun!, run by Michael and
Heather Bruce has been a wonderful learning
experience for me. I have been with
Every-Buddy’s Agility Fun! from it's on-set.
Coming from a background of Competitive
Obedience training and handling, Agility was
something new to learn, and find out more
about. Q, who is a son of Michael and Heather’s
Border Collie, Sadie, has been my Agility Dog.
I'll have to say Agility training provided a
variety of challenges in Dog behavior, and
training methods needed to achieve results.
Michael and Heather rose to the challenge and
have been Master students of learning and
teaching, attending every Agility seminar they
could fit in their schedule, and traveling a
good distance to get to many of them. Michael
is well-seasoned now, and willing to tackle the
challenges that many of the dogs bring to
agility training. Heather is certainly a key
participant at Every-Buddy’s, organizing
seminars, fun matches, speakers, class times,
schedules, and students. If it has to do with
money, paperwork, hospitality, or good
old-fashioned pats on the back...Heather is
there to do the task, and do it well. Enough
said, I look forward to each class and each
event I am able to attend at Every-Buddy’s
Agility Fun!

I joined
Every-Buddy's on a recommendation of a friend
and I have never
been happier. I came to Every-Buddy's as a
complete beginner and after the
very first class I felt that my bond with my dog
had changed, we became
more tuned into one another. Every-Buddy's
helped make Kes feel that the
biggest fun in the world was to do something
with me.
For a while I wasn't sure
if I was going to trial due to time
constraints, but agility quickly became my
favorite activity. Michael's focus on foundation
skills created a solid training base for Kes and
I so that when we debuted in NADAC agility in
June of 2006 we started off with a clean run and
earned 3 Qs out of possible 5 - I was instantly
addicted!
It has now been a year, and
Kes has earned her Outstanding Novice
Versatility, and is well underway in earning her
Outstanding Open Versatility Title. Our solid
training base makes every trial a success with
earned Qs and new insights. Michael is
always ready to push me to a new level of
training with new challenges. My goal now is to
earn Superior Elite Versatility title with Kes
and compete in the NADAC Championships. The
“Every-Buddy's team” is there for me, helping me
at every step of the way, with their expertise,
understanding of dogs and great attitude. Thank
you, Michael and Heather!
